I grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin. I love the outdoors, except the bugs. Every time I see something that I want, I go through the process of figuring out if I can just make it myself instead of buying it. I can’t ever remember not having a camera and taking it with me everywhere. I love animals, I have two adopted cats and two retired greyhounds. I love to bake, but I hate to cook. I always knew that I wanted to live in California and will never regret the day I moved here. I love craft beer and even brew my own. I enjoy traveling, but have never been out of the country. I am almost always happy and smiling. Mid Century modern is my favorite type of architecture. I am a graphic designer as well as a photographer. I enjoy shooting with a Yashica-D Twin Lens camera. My main camera is a Canon 5D Mark II. My husband loves to be my photo assistant, at least I tell him he does. I am learning everyday and love to try out new shooting techniques. I adore natural light, it gives the most realistic color and the most natural look. I dream about places that I want to take photos of. I know that you can go to Costco and get your photos printed for much much less, but I spend literally hours of my time searching out the best printers, the best processes to make your photos look amazing, and want you to look at your photos as a piece of art, not just a photo.
